More Black Women (gasp!) Smoke!!!

Just heard abc news deliver a message where they sound bit a guy who smugly and triumphantly trumpeted his findings that (paraphrasing) "a higher percentage of black women smoke than white women or women of other races."

Hmmm. A poor lifestyle choice. Smoking. Stupid, self-destructive, ugly and showing a lack of self-control. Hmmm.

So, why was the reporter so breathlessly giddy at this urgent "new" finding? Could it be that sense of discovery that comes when a leftist feels senses that he has discovered a new species of "victim of capitalism?"

Would he have been just as jubilant delivering the headlines "More black women have pre-marital sex than other races," "More black women make poor diet choices than other races," "More black women have children outside of wedlock," "More black women drop out of school"".etc., etc.?

No. Not because those things aren't all "bad," but because there are things left to be "done" about the smoking. There are corporations to extort, people to sue, retailers to shake down, and personal choices the poor, uneducated black women need to be saved from by the elitist nannies. They've already "fixed" the education system, destroyed self-reliance and morality by making everyone a ward of the state.
So what's left?

In other words, black people are again the tool of the shakedown industry otherwise known as the leftist cabal. The Hop on Pop Party is still out there shaking down people in the name of injustice and righteous outrage. Yup, another thing for them to Problemate so they can Solutionize it with our money through legal, judicial and bureaucratic means.

Beats the hell outta me. Luigi Barzini mentions a fascinating datum in O America! that few seemed to have noticed. After living in New York for two years he returned to Italy in 1926. Hey, wasn't that Il Duce's Italy?! Fascist Italy? No system so oppressed and brutalized its citizens, right?

Try "Communist?" Nah. Doesn't carry any punch. Indeed it backfires. It reflects on the accuser, not the accused. Call someone a "Fascist" like fashionable types call Pat Buchanan or Lew Rockwell and dark hints start surfacing throughout the Hive to substantiate it. Call someone a Communist and you're in trouble. Why you're a yahoo, a paranoic, a zealot, a hysteric, a hard-liner....probably even – YIKES! – a resident of Little Havana! Get the pepper spray! The tanks! The machine guns! These crackpots are capable of anything!

Yeah, there's nothing like having lived under them to turn you into a "crackpot," believe me.

Anyway, imagine half of Miami returning to live under Fidel. (Don't get excited, you Palm Springs and Broward residents. This is hyperbole.) Yet tens of thousands of Italians returned voluntarily. to Fascist Italy. Thousands of Spaniards returned to Franco's "Fascist" Spain after their Civil War. Seen any rafts heading south from the Keys lately? Who returns to Communist Cuba? – voluntarily that is?

Half the Red Chinese and Korean POWs during the Korean war resisted return to the very regimes they were supposedly fighting for. The Red Army pushed a bigger tide of refugees on its way west while "liberating" than the Werhmacht pushed heading east, while conquering. Millions of these refugees turned themselves in to the Allied authorities. Seemed to make sense, at the time. Weren't the Allies fighting a holy crusade for the Four Freedoms and all?

The Bolsheviks and Partisans didn't fret. They simply notified their allies that they wanted some errant subjects returned. Then they sharpened their knives, snapped in fresh clips, and fashioned more hangman's nooses, snickering away.

Sure enough. "Democracy's soldiers" (Steve Ambrose's term) prodding with bayonets, herded the terrified refugees into the cattle cars for transport to the Communist slaughter pens – those who didn't commit suicide that is.

Not the soldiers' fault, actually. Orders were orders. To their credit, many GIs disobeyed. Others fudged, turned their heads and allowed some refugees to keep fleeing west. Operation Keelhaul details it for anyone with a strong stomach. I recommended the book to scores of compatriots during the Elian circus, to put it into proper perspective.

Even some neocons, if they really get their dander up, if they really, really want to insult a Commie, call him a "Red Fascist." And moderate liberals might agree that, yes, Commies are "just as bad as Fascists."

But that's crazy. People could come and go from the premier Fascist nation freely. No walls festooned with barbed wire, jagged glass, and machine-guns incarcerated them against their will. No minefields blocked their way. No menacing dogs ripped apart any youth with wanderlust. No patrol boats rammed escapee craft then machine-gun women and children clutching floating debris. Even stranger, many waved to the Statue of Liberty on the way out, en route to live under Fascism voluntarily.

Imagine a Pinko who regards Castro or Uncle Ho as more oppressive then Il Duce. Hell, find me one who considers them as oppressive at all! To equate Castro with the likes of Benito Mussolini is blasphemy in Pinko eyes. As well as in mine. At one point in 1961 one of every 17 Cubans was a political prisoner. That's about ten times the rate of political incarceration in Fascist Italy in the 1930s. Stalin and Uncle Ho incarcerated as many but slaughtered far more.

Mussolini's goons used Castor oil and intimidation to silence his political enemies – a relative handful, as it was, mainly Reds. This earned his political movement the top spot in contemporary political demonology. (The Left didn't mind his central planning of the economy or welfare policies!) Castro's tens of thousands of ideological enemies found themselves against the blood-splattered paredon with a gag and a blindfold, or rotting in dungeons a decade longer than Nelson Mandela. This earned him a warm abrazo from Ted Turner, George Mc Govern, Jesse Jackson, Robert Redford, Jack Nicholson, Leo Di Caprio, Naomi "I'd rather go nude than wear fur" Campbell, Chevy Chase --I could continue but observe the timekeeper reaching for her gong. Plus he gets a tumultuous standing ovation at any international gathering....

For years the Cuban exile community in America has been a great source of cognitive dissonance within leftist circles, so now the elite media is working hard to make sure that the public is not reminded of their plight.

Cubanos now residing here either speak or have until recently spoken a non-English language. They are mostly middle to lower-middle class. They are not WASPS. In fact they are kind of brown-ish, which inoculates them from the Original Sin of Whiteness. Most importantly, they are VICTIMS!

So, why haven't the Cubans and their cause been embraced by the leftist grievance-mongers? Because the Cubans are REAL victims, not the manufactured kind the "liberal" media trots out. And they were people who had in most cases committed the sin of being self-reliant and productive. To top it off, they were victims OF the Left and its ersatz egalitarianism. In fact, it was a couple of the Left's poster boys who ripped apart their families, destroyed their homes and chased them to Miami in the first place.

Cubans who moved to America are in most cases, of course, strongly Anti-Communist, pro-individual rights, pro capitalism and pro-America. Mainly because they have had real world experience with Communism and did not grow up indoctrinated with utopian Socialist philosophies by educrats. They had INTACT FAMILIES to tell them the truth, and that is why to this day, nearly 50 years after Castro's takeover, they STILL don't buy into the phony victim b.s.

Now that Castro's health is failing, these Cubans are doing the unforgivable. They are threatening to steal a tiny piece of the spotlight from the important issues of Bush Bashing and America Demoralizing——the primary job of the media elite. They have the nerve to publicly celebrate the fact that Fidel may soon die. Because this hub-bub distracts from the media's agenda and is difficult for leftists to comfortably digest, these people who have the gall to not hate George Bush MUST NOT get any exposure for their point of view and must be marginalized!

How will our hypocritical media editors deal with this non-anti-Bush issue? Ignore the Cubans or paint them as people who are just using America as a temporary waiting lobby...a cushy holding tank while they wait for their ultimate return to post-Castro Cuba. That's right...they aren't "Americans" they are just Cubans who are hanging out here for awhile! They aren't residents, they are just refugees.

The leftist media are already up to their classic ploys, grabbing a "random" man-on-the-street shill to convey the "true feelings" of all Cuban-Americans. A bunch of "Lucinda Sheehans" who will say "I am just waiting for Castro to die so I can go back to Cuba. I live in America but I am really Cuban!"

The truly shameless will start running proactive "non-judgemental" features on the "human side" of El Jeffe just in case he kicks off soon and threatens to give more ink to these non-commies. The media will find some more shills to subtley "viva la revolucion" by putting forth some fantasy about "great healthcare" or "high academic acheivement" in Castro's utopia. After all, here in George Bush's uncaring America, we can always find someone to interview who doesn't "have these things." The irony is that Castro is the classic "capitalist" as the left would define the term. He is the most successful and unrepentant, oppressive, cheating, thieving, and hugely wealthy thug in the Western Hemisphere. He makes Kenny Boy Lay look like Mother Theresa, but he is held up by the left as a man of the people.

Let's review: These Cubans are not members of the Correct American Team because...they are not AMERICANS! Besides, Castro means well! And in many ways he is morally superior to George Bush. The fastest, cheapest and most effective way to protect our borders is to immediately lay a minefield. It can be done in a couple of months and can give us quick protection while we jack around looking at how we can build fences and trenches and do the "high-tech thing" that will kinda sorta stop foreigners from violating our borders in a really expensive and inefficient but "civil" way that helps us to feel not-too-guilty. After all, keeping poor foreigners away is selfish and mean-- and we wouldn't even DO it if there were ANY choice at all, because we are so undeserving of our unfair advantages in this life. Especially if we are given money to do something like act on television or perhaps get fifty thousand a year to talk to ten-year-olds for six hours a day, nine months a year. So, if we stumble and stutter around trying to show we "care" and we self-flagellate by putting a huge burden on our taxpayers, we will demonstrate how much it "hurts us" to lock out our neighbors who are, after all, Aristoctrats (forged card-carrying members of the Noble Order of Victims). And besides, if we did something BARBARIC like enforce our national sovereignty and security by means of lethal force, somebody from THE WORLD might take a dramatic photo of a smoking tire-tread sandal next to a dismembered brown hand still grasping onto a tattered photo of a doe-eyed child and BOOM! Time Magazine gets it Pulitzer, George Bush fails the GLOBAL TEST yet again, and-- most importantly--people with berets and comfortable shoes critique us mercilessly!

Sixty thousand troops, drones, trenches, and fences say "you really shouldn't come in here, and we are going to tell you in a very stern voice that we MEAN BUSINESS...and if you DO sneak in, we will send you RIGHT BACK and tell you to STOP IT!"

Throw the minefield idea at the people who are stewing about a solution. See how they process this simple, efficient solution and you will see how moral relativism and the feminization of our culture is killing America. "It seems so barbaric!" "What will others think?" "People could get KILLED!"

Borders are NOT grey areas. By their very definition, they mean to define RIGHT OR WRONG, BLACK OR WHITE, YES OR NO. They exist for one reason, and "feelings" or "self-image" do not have a role in the enforcement of borders. Think about it. These are the folks who are wringing their hands and blaming politicians for not dealing with the issue, but who don't have the guts to draw the line, and call for the most logical solution for enforcing the border. Land mines have worked pretty damned well for the better part of a century keeping Turkey and Greece out of each other's bidness. That's right. It's the next Public School-level-bottomless-mega-bureau on the horizon, and the Democrat/union/media cabal referred heretofore in this blog as THE SOLUTIONISTS™ are licking their chops at what they see as their last great hope for expansion.

Why are the SOLUTIONISTS in a mad rush to bring the "Public Transportation" issue to the fore? Because two former "growth industries" for their anti-capitalist power-base are losing traction:

First, Al Gore and his alarmist/solutionist buddies are finally being rightfully refuted by REAL SCIENCE, so there is a groundswell of support for such issues as new domestic oil drilling (the damned Washington Post even says it's time to start drillin'.)

Second, vouchers and privately operated schools have gotten their noses under the tent of the Soviet-style U.S. educational racket that has traditionally been a dead-solid lock. Leaders like Arnold S., flying in the face of protocol and armed with perceived political capital, even dared to rattle a sword at the edu-crats before getting clobbered by their well-funded (with your dough) media campaigns. And "right-wing extremists" (people who are sick of their kids getting a shitty, over-priced education combined with socialist indoctrination) are shouted down by the multi-million dollar "What about the children?" disinformation campaigns that never fail to mobilize the Oprah-ites toward a bureaucratic draft.

But, there is a change in the air, and the elitists don't like the smell of it. The SOLUTIONISTS are having to spend a substantial chunk of their ill-gotten treasure on propaganda campaigns simply in order to hold their ground, and they see trouble. Looks like alternative media outlets are upping the disinformation price.
THE SOLUTIONISTS are worried—and they need something new to PROBLEMATE. They think they have found perfect populist storm from which to create their newest campaign—and the upside for them is a doozey. It is called "Public Transportation." Don't confuse this with mass transit. Mass transit is to Public Transportation as "retirement investment" is to "Social Security."

And they are already pursuing their new power enclave which, if they are successful, will take some poor future American generation at least fifty years to undo, like all this stupid FDR bullshit we are JUST NOW chipping away at. You may have heard the recent "underwriter" of public radio stations across the country referred to as "publictransportation.org." Don't be surprised if you never hear the term "mass transit" again. At least not on NPR, CBS, NBC, or in any large metropolitan daily. That's right—those people who brought you our educational system, affirmative action and the Social Security system have found their next "problem" to "solutionize" with their boundless magnanimity, and they have to hurry before the free market beats them to it. Because that would be capitalism, which is evil and selfish.

They have to use their normal method of having the "government" rush in before it's "too late" and the capitalist marketplace is allowed to work: EMOTE, EXAGGERATE, BLAME, AND DEMAND. Watch the "outcry" for more efficiency, safety and environmental responsibility combine with the "outcry" about the "criminal profits" being made by the evil oil companies. This is a POPULIST PERFECT STORM, and the bad guys are plotting their power expansion in one of the very few growth areas still available to them...public employees unions. Don't be fooled by this latest attempt to grab for the politboro what should be a free market opportunity.

By the way...would you prefer a future of shared, GPS-managed limos gliding across town operated by innovative, competitive small businesses, or a bumpy ride on a slow, grimy, tuberculin city bus driven by an un-firable aristocrat? If you said limo...I hope you get it, because you'll deserve it. After all, because just as with private and public education, you'll be the one who winds up getting soaked for BOTH! That'll teach Exxon/Mobil!
